DAY 4| Favorite Song
If I Never Knew You
I had never heard this song until a few months ago when I watched someone’s 10th anniversary edition of Pocahontas. It was the most beautiful thing ever. What made it mainly was the lyrics. It’s so heartbreaking and lovely and great. After hearing that, I recognized the tune of it played throughout the original version of the movie, and it gave me chills. Good chills. I only got to watch the special edition scene once, and I wish I could watch it every time I watch Pocahontas, but just listening to the song makes me happy, too.
